I tried to take some zen photos this morning ...

A stone found among others in my garden

The USA stone looks almost like turquoise, though more likely it is agate, jasper, or maybe soapstone. Do you know what it is?

No , sorry , i bought it a few years ago for it's color , maybe a closer view could help ...

I really like the long legs on this one. excellent character represented. The pot works really well...I like the contrast between the autumn leafy colors and the turquoise color of the pot.

Oriental bittersweet ( Celastrus orbiculatus )
A small climbing and invasive plant able to kill even large trees , i will try to keep it under control ...

After looking at the photo ( it' s sometimes easier in a photo than with the tree in front of you ) , i have seen two things easy to improve ( the branches on the left side too high , and the hole between the roots .

I have found a small pink stone to plug the hole between the roots and cut a little the foliage to balance the tree .

Thanks Leo , another slightly better angle of this " octopus " plant ( nebari looks like tentacles for me ) .




This little plant grew between the gravel of my garden , i placed it in this pot this morning without touching too much the roots

Growing quick , the back budding is very fast due to the pruning which has allowed the light to enter.
I didn't know anything about this species but it looks interesting , even if the leaves are a little big for a shohin.
