I picked this pot out right away on the raffle table at The Gathering last weekend at Durastone. I put in 2 tickets and won!

Hopefully I didn't get the chop and signature upside down.

Thanks Brian. Just curious, what sort of tree do you think would fit it? it's 13"x9.5"

Very masculine pot, so black pine, buttonwood with shari, hefty trunked pyracantha would all be candidates. It's actually a pot I've considered for the black pine I've been documenting, but I think it's almost too massive for the curve in the trunk.

yeah. sort of what I was thinking. Basically, I don't have anything that is worthy of and/or fits into this pot. There was a sweet, shallow, cream colored, similarly priced one for sale that I could see my rain tree moving into eventually. Maybe I should have tried to work a trade.

That is a nice pot! I'd be happy to have it even though I too don't have anything that's finished enough for it. But hopefully, if you're like me, your future will have such a 'specimen' tree that deserves such a nice pot! ;)

Brian, I think that JBP would look great in such a pot!
