Cool area. Just a hop and skip to a lot of outdoor recreation opportunities. I see some cold hardy pines and junipers in your future.
Yes right across the street! no junis ever though...(allergies) I'm going to build a year round structure the trees will be housed in, I'll see how that works out.

Sangre's - just above Westcliffe. Can't wait!
We looked a bit in Oregon, but PNW is too $$$ these days. Even looked up around Enterprise, as we love the Wallowas too. Westcliffe has always been our dream for long years, and this year we found the right parcel.
Nice! You’ll be up the the valley from me!

Just starting on mine. I went all in this year. I got tired of working out in the cold spring winds and squeezing trees in wherever I could, so I’m building a studio/workshop and dedicated bonsai garden.

The studio is off-grid. I mounted the solar panels today.

Here’s where my trees live currently.

I’ll have room for a lot more trees with the new setup!

grow Heineken.

don't know if he's growing them......but I bet you he's "killed" more than a couple!!:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
I use the "tilted elbow" method, personally. In tandem with a slight cooling before you "do the deed", they go down right peaceable....:D:D:D:D:D
Hooray, beer!!!:)

It's so nice and quiet when it's 3 below zero!

I wouldn't have even ventured out to take a picture. I just scurry to the garage to get in the car in the morning for work, and scurry back in the house, when I get home. Just reinforces my thought that Il sucks! However, it is a balmy 6 degrees here.

I went for a walk in the woods today, it was -2F. It was a great day. The Sun was out, very little wind. I will miss days like today come Summer.
