is something I've desired for awhile...and that is a scroll for display with both japanese and english on it. The japanese to give the "look" I desire and yet a translation on the same board so that others can know what is being said.

It's different but it fills i need i have to display caligraphy. The next board is finished and is a high mountain lake scene that can display with my loon decoy and limber pine. It just needs to arrive by mail. I didc ommission another board to have bulls fighting like they do in the mountains of Niigata. It's a popular sport among the koi breeders in spring and summer. a nice acer palmatum, scroll and koi figurines (tenpai) ought to take me back to my former visits there when I can't get back physically. :)

The only other thing accomplished recently was to have the may issue of the magazine "kinbon" translated
into english on the articles of chojubai quince. was worth the effort and a big thank-you to Bill V
for helping me to obtain that copy!
