This one came from my parents' front flower bed right before they moved houses. It had been there for a decade at least, maybe longer because that bed was put in around the late 80's when they ripped up a holly hedge.

I'd bet they're at least from the 80's. I've lived here for 14 years and the biggest one I have is maybe as big around as a magic marker. But then again I've never fertilized or sprayed a drop of pesticide or fungicide on them.
