This is another tree taken from the gutter of a nearby derelict garage the second photo shows one of the sections of root i removed notice how it is perfectly flat and rectangular this is why i love trees from gutters so much. I'm off shortly to walk dog and get more trees from garage.

here are today's collections from the garage probably going to leave them mostly as they are. i'm also running out of space to keep them all and running out of time to collect them all probably going to have to re-wild or re-home them.

i'm also running out of space to keep them all.

I saw in one of your other threads that you have a wall with a peaked cap. You could build a flat shelf on top of the cap and/or build hanging shelves. That would expand your usable space and clear the ground for your kids.

It is amazing that trees actually grow in garage gutters. I guess that is what happens in a perpetually moist environment. Makes for easy collecting.

Horray the rain has stopped (only 5 day's of rain can't really complain at this time of year) i can now go out and gently and lovingly brutalize/torture my new tree into the shape i want. post b4 and after pictures later.

Have to exercise my lunatic first though
