This is my parm juniper i bought from my friendly bonsai nursery its on ly pre bonsai but i need find a front the foliage has not grown out so you can see the basic strucure here are the pics:

when should i repot it and how much can i root prune the 1 gallon pot is filled with roots

I don't find either a "parm" or a "tam" juniper in any of my books. We really need a closer look at the foliage, but it MIGHT be a Parson's juniper.

In order to give advice on the front you need to get down at its level and take the pictures; probably easiest to put the plant on a table. Look at other pictures of trees on this site to see the perspective we will need.

Looks like Chamaecyparis to me. One of the many false cypresses. Maybe pisifera
