Hmm, it's really hard to tell scale in that photo. Maybe that pot is really 15" or so.... :p
I'm surprised you haven't gotten leaves yet, I hear it's been a very warm winter out there.

I wish it was smaller JudyB! The pot length is 27"
This tree started waking up yesterday.

Yes, it is liked summer here, but night temperature is still below 50 F, so some of trees are still sleeping. Some of trees are really smart, like persimmon and jujube. They are not fooled by temporary weather.

The Revered Teacher has new leaves now.
IMG_6255.jpg IMG_6256.jpg IMG_6257.jpg

This small one is too.
IMG_6261.jpg IMG_6262.jpg

This tree was transplanted on 2/4/18. I was afraid of frostbite but the tree does not show any problem! :) (Last week we had air temperature down to 30 F with strong, chilly wind in couple of days)
IMG_6258.jpg IMG_6260.jpg

This one also has a lot of new leaves

I think I can say with all honesty that The Revered Teacher pleases me the most out of all your Pomegranates, Bonhe.
Perhaps, into a different pot... if my ignorance might say...
Thanks. Which pot do you think? Thank you

I am in no way the person to propose/suggest but since you do me the honor to ask my opinion... :)
Of course I am thinking of a deeper pot (like the current pot) since this is a flowering/fruiting tree.
If going for a round pot, then perhaps something like these pots from Walsall Studio
walsal_pom1.jpgwalsal_pom3.jpg or this pot by Iker Iker_pom.jpg

But also hexa/octagonal pots are pleasing to my eye... something like these from Greg Ceramics

I thought I should make a clarification...
Τhe use of photographs of these pots is for the sole purpose of indicating the form and the glaze (not size) I have in mind.
No other purpose of any kind.
Names of the artists should always been posted when one uses any kind of material referring to their creations...

Look at this small pomegranate. The flower buds are popping out every where, even on the trunk!
This plant has pink flower. I need to give it some movement in the trunk and place it in the bigger pot this year.
