A "Classic" . A finicky species (chamaecyparis lawsoniana elwodii). There was one more tree in the middle that died (still wondering why), and every operation (prunning, repotting, wiring, bending...) means unreasonable damage. Also it doesn't backbud from wood..... I've tried to keep them compact...

I've been really into similar ideas of Penzai, lately.. like larger structures/implements that compliment one (or few) trees in a DISTINCT pot-shaped pot.

I like this one.

Update:

Today: I've been chopping and shaping a bit. I will be changing the pot to use a marble slab according to the theme. My aim is that in the future those trees resemble olives....
