Two great things about this site are the exchange of information on techniques and the inspiration from threads like this.

Peter, 2 questions:
1. Who helps you maintain your trees? You can't possibly do it all yourself!
And 2. I see you graft a lot of itoigawa. Would you care to share your technique with us?

As always, thanks for keeping us inspired to push ourselves ever upward.

Yeah this thread changed my bonsai life, I have lots of shohin now, probably only a couple when I first saw this...:D
That’s really where I’m at now also. Since I can’t go collect at the moment small trees from nursery stock are really drawing me in.

Wow. Simply Wonderful.
Thanks you for showing your vast collection.
I love when I can show my wife pics like, “see, I don’t have that many plants!” 😏
I just wish I had a few that were as nice as yours. 👍

The outcome of Covid-19 Lockdown !!! Pictures I taken two weeks ago...

More time in taking care of all shohin trees, lots of repotting, styling lots of 10-12 years old Itoigawa...
Been selling some of my bigger California juniper trees...
Cancelled all class for the past 2 months.
Started making pots again after two years of not touching it..

Hi Peter, please can you show us a close up of one of your blue atlas cedars? I believe you make them semi cascade. Never seen anything like them until now (when I watched the easterm leaf video).. Thanks!

Too many Itoigawa. I’m ready to adopt. We can start with the one you last had on Bonsai Appraisal on Facebook 😅
