My winter storage

I recruited my wife to help me organize and clean my storage area. This is an unheated sunroom leading to my balcony. I monitor the temps and try to keep it around 34-44*. It’s been a little tougher though, with the warm ass winter we’ve been having.

Anyways, just thought I’d share. I’m getting antsy to set up a new balcony configuration. Planning on adding another bench to span the whole width of the balcony.

I think you'd have a better chance keeping the temps down if you put a blackout shade on the door and window. Sun is not your winter friend :)

Thank you. I covered the southern window but hadn’t thought about covering the others. I might do that

Haha. I proposed it as “i need your eye for organization and design. And i want to spend some quality time together” 😉
Mine would reply, "Get rid of all those damn trees and we'd have lots of space and quality time for some projects of mine that you've neglecting..."

Get an exhaust fan with temp control possibly 6” duct fan.
Maybe leave door cracked and block oyt windos like judy said....best below 40
Better if you can block windows from outside...then should be great storage I would think...then no heat through glass

I was very surprised how much it does matter, when I covered a north one this year that I had not done before.
