Hello my nellie,
You should get Liquidambar orientalis because it is orinally from Greece!

Hello Thụ Thoại.
Thank you for thinking about me :)
Indeed, I know I can get Liquidambar here in Greek nurseries but they are all grown as landscape trees. Straight tall trunks with no lower branching.
Do you know how they respond to trunk chopping?

Hello Thụ Thoại!
This bougainvillea has been ignored for few years!
... ... I will not let it have water in 14 days . Let see what happens.
I know they do not like wet roots, but 14 days...! Isn't it too long? :)
So, yes, let us see what happens.
Do you have anything in particular in mind keeping the tree thirsty? Are you aiming perhaps at forcing it to bloom?

Thanks my nellie for asking.
It’s young leaves coming out are still tense after 5 days without water! Maybe the soil was too wet!!
Yes, I want to force it bloom ! I can wait until the leaves have the sign of severe dehydration, then I will water it again .
There are pink and red bracts coming at this time .

This time of the year, there is a problem on some of my black pines. There are more on this year. The interesting thing is it always happens on the strongest pines ?
