Apologies for repeat posting but I tacked this inquiry onto a prior post and I thought it should be on its own because it is a separate issue and I seriously want suggestions from you.

I am getting ready to post 3 pots for sale from the same batch of pots that the giveaway pot was from, so they have a similar but different look. They were all fired together with the same stoneware clay body fired to cane 6. I have been calling them Stone look stoneware pots which is a descriptive enough name but redundant and a name I am not stuck on. A few names spring to mind, some serious like simple Stone Look Pots or Stone Edge Pots. Others not so serious like Stoned Pots. But I am tempted to reserve that name for pots with cannabis leaf imprints.
I am asking here for suggestions so if you would be so kind I would love to here some ideas.
Thank you all.

And you don’t have any photos of these pots to help the discussion?

It is the like the giveaway pot and like those I have shown before as stone look pots. Several pictures here already and don't want to confuse the issue about what is for sale until I decide on a name.
Thank you, it was probably an oversight on my part.

Okay. Fair enough. I have no idea what those pots looked like, or if I looked I’d probably find the wrong one. To me it seemed much more productive to show a pot photo and ask...what would you call this kind of pot? Would this pot be called a *** pot?
It’s just the path my mind took when I replied. No problem.

How about "stone age pots" or "stone phase pots"?
Both good names, but I have to say, Stone Age Pots is not going to be easy to beat. It is stuck in my head now. I also make these platters and bowls of sorts that I sell quite a number of at different stores that could wear this name. Stone phase is very cool too but is maybe a little artsy for me. Reminds me of Monet's Blue Phase.

I'm listening and have taken your very good suggestion.
Thank you.

+1 for "Penumbra Stone Age pot"
Clever. I was actually just mulling that idea around in my head. It does help identify and there is a sort of obscure logic as penumbra is kinda like a cusp, the meeting of dark and light.
Sometimes you finish my thoughts.

Suddenly, I want to see that platter’s glaze around the inside rim of a Stone Age pot...
You know, that is a good idea. With the drippy glazes though there will be no sharp contrasting line between glazed and unglazed. But based upon your comment, I will definitely give it a try.
Thank you so much.

The traditional name would be a Kurama style pot (a genuine Kurama container is solid stone, of a specific type). I normally see things like this sold as ‘rock pots’ or just ‘slabs’.
