Natural S curve?

While I normally find the S shaped curve in bonsai unappealing and totally unnatural. Finding this Amur maple two years ago growing like this untouched. Leads me to the conclusion that nature can create a S curve. And maybe someone found an elm tree growing with a S curve and decided to copy it because they thought it was pleasing and unusual. What say you Nuts on the topic of S curves?IMG_0338.jpeg
 
it is not the repeated loops, it is the extend.
All moyogi-style trees have undulating shapes in the trunk.
 
Lots of random stuff happens in nature. Doesn’t make it appealing. Related regular curves are monotonous and boring whether man or nature implements them

As the trunk thickens, the movement will become more subtle over time.

Agree totally!
Just because it is possible does not make it great to look at.
Some S curves look good. Most mass produced S curves are not so attractive.
