Hi all,

Trying to decide on a front for this Willow Leaf Ficus. Here's the two views:

And here is my first option for the lean for the front:

With that one there is a bad spot that I covered with cut paste on the lower right section of the trunk.

Here is the other view:

That one has a section up on the left where I took a good number of cuttings off, so that is why there is paste there as well. There are buds in this view that I could chop back to to create a new leader, and remove that long straight one that's being used as the leader in the other view.

The tree obviously still needs growing out, I just need to decide on a front so I can plan other branches accordingly.

So, your thoughts?

I think I'll go with the last picture as the front. The front bow in the first virt doesn't quite look right.

Old leader removed, left 3 possible leaders in its spot so that I can decide once they get growing which to choose.

What are you using for lighting? My new growth is never that red. guess i need more light.

Doesn't look like its growing much. Is there any flare under the soil line?

Trust me, it grew like a weed. I just cut it back to work on getting growth in closer to the trunk. It's got zero flare.
