Need help with finding a thread plz...

Hey everyone. I have I Chinese Elm in the ground that is coming out soon. I want to do a broom with it.
I recall seeing a thread some time ago about the use of a hose clamp to eliminate the bulge (I think that was what it was for...not to sure)
Hopefully someone can provide that link for me.

Is this it? I try to keep mental notes of people who make threads I'm interested in and who comments relevant information on them. I think @markyscott and @Adair M were talking about a hose clamp in this one. I probably could have checked before linking a random thread though. gl

Trying To Make A Broom

I have way too many projects, but after reading @markyscott 's post on his broom, I kinda got hooked. I hope Mrs Mullet doesn't put me in time out for starting another project. . I have had this elm that was in a batch of seedlings (I mean really just a seedling, only about two inches tall)...
