Not bonsai related so I thought I might be able to fit this here. Seeing that we have people from other countries, I thought I might ask for some help. I got an old Mercedes Truck from the 1980's, built in Brasil. It's an L series. Brake light switch is not working. It's apparently still common in Brazil and the Middle East. If you can help put me in contact with someone for parts, I'd appreciate it very much. Right now even a part number might be helpful.

If you can't find the right parts.....

There's a Cuban feller somewhere could make it work with the wrong parts.

That one you could take to the junkyard!
Just watch out for dogs!

LOL. I can do without the stereo and speedometer, but I need my brake lights. :D Anyways after a bunch of calling and searching, I may have found a source (not sorce) out in Oregon.

Try Ebay. After it realizes you're looking for Merc parts it'l ask make/model...likely to get vendors offering parts for your model. I used to own an old Euro only coup in a turbo diesel that i had no trouble finding parts on ebay..but nowhere else.
