I like that curvy trunk. Lots of branches to choose from. I'm still quite new to the hobby but I think you will have fun with this one!

Before the pic I already took 3 branches thinking about growing them separately. If any of them will grow I will switch the growing branchby the plant so my parents can still enjoy it and I can have some fun with the oldest plant. It has lot of cuts as every year in winter it was pruned without thinking much, but I guess I can still do something about it with some advise from the forum. Thanks!

Yes it is a dwarf pomegranate, around 20 years old. I have a 30 to 40 years old normal pomegranate also in my parent´s garden. around 6 meters height. I was planning to do an air layer of that one, but then I looked at the dwarf one and I posted it here.. I believe it is much more appropriate for Bonsai...

I am excited for you! I think this is a great find to work with, even if I don't have the experience others do here. A great project.
