Nice! Love the bark and nebari. Should turn out to be a nice tree and the flowers will make for an interesting tree. I see these all over my neighborhood and always find myself daydreaming about developing a few. I’m interested to see updates if you care to share them.

Yea. Loads around here, but I have yet to start one.
Supposedly they start from cuttings as easily as a mulberry or bougie, so may after this storm passes there will be some branches on the streets to work with.

Nice little start, it should backbud quite readily after a chop too. Make sure it doesn't dry out and should be good to go,at even flower this season for you.
