Just thought I'd share a picture of my new pink pixie bougie. Overall happy with it but not sure about the large trunk scar in the middle of the front. Also, is the black area on the scar on the back mold?

I love Bougies...I feed mine Bougain with success... Many here use it. Not sure but, curious if you could later carve that scar to make it less noticeable. Let someone else pipe in on that aspect.

I do have some Bougain. How much do you feed and how often? Advice from anyone on reducing that scar would be great!

I feed mine about 4tsp. once a month...or close to that. When I notice lack of fert. in soil I add more.

As for the mold question...can you give a close up of the area...that might be helpful. I can't answer that question...but maybe someone else can.
