Just picked up this little guy from Home Depot. Good start but needs some cleaning and some work. I believe it’s a Juniper... can anyone confirm?

Any ideas on what I should do with it long term? They started a semi-cascade profile, could even be worked into a cascade pretty easily, but I think I’d rather try straightening it out a little bit and try an informal upright.

The trunk has a lot of gnarly bits but not much for a Nebari as far as I can see. Might do a little digging and see what’s sitting just below the soil level.

Opinions?

Procumbens Nana. Best you can do for it now is focus on keeping it alive. Wait until spring and get it in some good soil. Don't keep it indoors, It will surely die. I wouldn't do to much work to it right now. Maybe a gentle cleaning of the branches.
