Well after 13 weeks my birthday gift has arrived! The Evenheat RM1822. Great size for the beginning potter!
Got it Friday. Test fire Saturday. Bisque fire Sunday....first pot out Monday morning!

Looks fantastic Randy! Count me as a customer when you’re ready. Just making sure that if/ when I kill a bonsai in one of your pots you replace with one of your really nice bonsai.

Going to be interesting with glaze. @sorce what impact does clay color have on glaze if any?

The manganese in those darker bodies will muddy a color well. I was just thinking about using a white slip over those to negate that.

Good eye. Yes, that is one of two that I work on after I have recuperated from the previous blood letting...I mean trimming. It is from an air layer I learned how to do on your site. I know you are pretty particular about your pots so give me a few more firings before you look too close.

How large a pot can you fire in this new kiln?

It is 18inx22in so I am guessing 15 or 16 inches long. My pots are about 12.5 x 8.

Alright, kiln loaded for cone 6 glaze fire. Medium fire ready in about 8 hours then 12 hour cool off. So, will be ready around 2. Will see how it works. Found out I need another couple of shelves.
