Here is a hornbeam that was initially purchased about 10 years ago. as you can see there is little remaining of what it used to be after someone took pruners to it. It really amazes me to see how much life some of these trees exhibit. I posted a few photos to show you guys where it is at today.

If you look close, at what used to be the apex, there's a small bud developing and there are also a few developing on the R side as well. We'll see how she progresses and go from there.
