The year of the upgrade has begun. Here’s my first addition.

I’ll have to take a look at the root system. The twist at the top of the deadwood is pretty intriguing and I might want it to stand more upright so people can see the live vein better. Time will tell.

At this point this tree has been in this tub for 2 years. I feel pretty confident in slip potting it into a box i’ll Build or an oversized pot if I have the right size. I’ll try to stand it up at least enough to create space between the tree and the soil line. Then take the summer to look it over and come up with a plan. That’s the only option I’ll exercise this coming season.
