Got this off the job site before it gets bulldozed. Put in a vase I drilled a few holes in for now. Trimmed up nice I think. Anyone else a fan of these shrubs? Post pictures if you’ve had one for a while. My other two made it through winter just fine. D46D63E4-62DF-4F07-85C5-0372C145144A.jpeg495498B4-353E-4A34-AC76-67634558C9DF.jpeg

Interesting. First I’ve heard of these. Are the roots basically that tall....like a column shape? Might make a nice original wild growth flattop or cascade appearance. Lots of work though....but I think you’re up for that and will make something interesting out of this.

Already has foliage pads and movement without wire, cool.

I like working on shrubs too, especially from landscape nurseries.

No the roots can sometimes be very small. 1/10 the plant size and fit in a Bonsai pot very nice. This one was doing fantastic in my house with led at night but I moved outside this spring. It is suffering a bit but is still doing good. 5C3B2E4E-A314-4350-9AB0-7AB27C48E9F7.jpeg
