Well where to begin... For starters My name is Matt and I have just joined this website and just entered this hobby a couple weeks ago. I have always been fascinated by bonsai trees and thought it would be a fun thing to start since I have just aqcuired a lot of free time.

This first tree I went out and got was the Australian Brush Cherry. I will post the following links to my pictures on facebook since I cant get them to upload on here.

These are all the same tree just from different views. I was wondering what you be some good ideas to do with this tree and how do I go about them.

My girlfriend just left the country for a year to go teach English in China and she got me a jade plant. She went to her firends house and pulled some stems off the main tree and potted them for me. They are healty for the most part and are growing new leaves. More pictures from face book.

Once again any opinoins about what I should do with this. There are two stems in the pot and the one has a straight trunk and the other has a dual split trunk.

The third tree I have was the one i really wanted and searched for and found on ebay. The prunus mume. It is still a very young tree and was wondering what I should do with this.

Any feedback would be great.

Other than these three trees that I have I ordered some seeds.

Jacaranda Mimosifolia - Currently planted on 9-1-2012 and there are between 20-30 seeds.

Prusus Serrulata - Currently in the stratification stages. 11 seeds

Prunus Tribloba - Currently in the stratification stages. 6 seeds.

I would like any information anyone can give me since I am new to this. I have been reading about bonsai and watching videos, but I think personal feedback is much better.

Thanks a lot.
