Hi all,

I am from Singapore and I was thinking of getting some hinoki cypress.

I did some searching online but can't find any information on whether hinoki can do well in Singapore's hot climate.

The temps in celcius is around 30-32 in the day and about 27-28 at night.

And if hinoki cannot be grown, which species would you recommend for a beginner like me?

I have doubts about Hinoki cypress in a tropical climate but obviously no experience. There are some Chamaecyparis species native to Taiwan that might work better?
