New to Bonsai - ID and best care?

Hello! I got a tree as a gift and am not positive how accurate the ID of it is. Picture is attached - I believe it to be a young Juniper.
I was also wondering once identified, should I keep it inside or outside?
If you have any other tips, I would appreciate them as well!

Juniper procumbens (probably J. procumbens 'nana') by that pic. definitely outside and good sunlight. Junipers do not generally like conditions inside our buildings. You will definitely need to monitor closely when it goes outside. It will probably need water every day through summer, maybe twice each day if you are in a warm area. It seems you are new to bonsai so also need regular fertiliser to stay healthy.
