New to Bonsai, long time gardener

So, I recently started living in an apartment, and I started these seedlings to begin my new garden after having to move from a much nicer property where I had land.

I guess this is my way of coping with my need for vibrant living plants around in such a confined space.

I have a bunch of seedlings started, that I want to start training to become bonsai over the next few years, maybe a few clonal specimens when it warms up...

Anyway here are my babies, please don't make fun

My magnolia and juniper have yet to germinate but my oak trees seem to be taking off, I'm hoping they don't stretch much more
