Hi all

I been overwintering my deciduous trees in the garage so far and they all seem to be fine. I was wondering if I can prune my japanese maples, junipers during dormancy? Can I also wire them during this time as well? For example, I would like to prune/wire them now, is that ok?

I see that I am #278 viewer and nobody has responded. I think that makes it safe for me to offer this: I have had bad luck with doing this, and with many species, for no good reason. I don't do this anymore. I do not understand why I have had this, "bad luck", but I've decided that I will putter elsewhere during winter and early spring. I only mess with trees as I am putting them down for the duration or moving them back to the bench in spring, and any time in summer or autumn is OK. Let sleeping bonsai lie.

Thanks @Forsoothe! I just posted this today, the view count you are seeing was from people viewing the previously posted message but the reply is appreciated, I will leave the trees alone until spring
