New Year New Ficus - what to do

Here’s my latest Ficus that was added to the collection a few months ago. I think I know what I want it to look like just having trouble on figuring out how to get there.

The last two pictures are inspiration and goals. It is a multi trunk with one two inch trunk, the rest are small. My best strategy right now is to wire things to lay the branches down a bit and add ramification and then let it grow. Open to suggestions and thoughts.

Nice little clump Ficus!

I think what you said to do is pretty good for now, if you know a few branches you want to wire then do it now and wait a bit.In late spring or early summer I would be tempted to defoliate and do some selective pruning and any other wiring you think it may need and then let it grow again.
