Not me. I don't like them for the reasons you stated.They are so plentiful in northern Michigan that everyone tries them

I'm going to learn grafting and maybe try to put some hinoki cypress foliage on one.

Never would have guessed that! It looks quite powerful in structure.It is only 12" tall, hard to tell from the photo.
