Hi. I have had a Chinese elm since December. I live in Ireland. It has been doing really well until lately when I noticed it looked like the images attached. It has been kept in the same spot since the day I got it. No obvious insects or anything. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Has it been indoors since you got it? If so, that is the main reason for its decline, get it outside asap, it is a pretty durable tree and will only thrive outside.

Thanks. Iv put it outside today so hopefully see some improvement. Would you recommend keeping it out all summer and then bringing it back in for winter?

I'm in Lincolnshire and my Chinese elms stay outside all year round (although when it freezes below -5°c they go into my unheated shed).

Maybe it's mad because you didn't take of the name-tag.

The yellow leaves will fall off or you can pull them off. Give it as much sun as possible. Welcome to the forum.
