Newbie JBP question

Hi, so I just bought this JBP and was wondering if I should go ahead and start to wire the trunk some to give it some movement or give it a couple years to grow out.

Another couple of newbie questions. I live in New Mexico 7b. I was thinking of burying this in the garden for the winter. Should I do that or is putting it in an unheated garage better? If it goes in the garden should I allow it the morning sun? Sun all day? Or no sun?

Put it in your garden and let nature take care of it. You climate is great for it.

Yes that's your best option in full Sun and left in its nursery can till Spring
when you could disturb the roots more successfully.
