Hi, so I just bought this JBP and was wondering if I should go ahead and start to wire the trunk some to give it some movement or give it a couple years to grow out.

You can do both...wire the trunk to give it some movement AND give it a couple of years to grow out.

I might go ahead and do that. Going to be putting it in the ground over the winter and wanted to make sure before I did that. Thanks!

Another couple of newbie questions. I live in New Mexico 7b. I was thinking of burying this in the garden for the winter. Should I do that or is putting it in an unheated garage better? If it goes in the garden should I allow it the morning sun? Sun all day? Or no sun?

Put it in your garden and let nature take care of it. You climate is great for it.

I appreciate it. Those answers give me relief.
