Hi I got a bonsai for my birthday and tbh I don’t know what it it’s. I kept it under a skylight on a dresser watered gently and regularly misted and it seemed happy. I then changed its location and put it on a very sunny window sill. Big mistake! It now has nearly lost all its leaves I have moved it back to its original spot and keep misting it. Please see pics any ideas? Thx!

It is a ficus. It is not unusual for them to drop their leaves when you move them. Keep it by the bright window (they need as much light as you can give them indoor) but away from any cold drafts. Do not mist it, you might get a fungal problem. Instead, water it when the first inch or so of the soil is dry.

Yea, it’s probably just because those leaves weren’t used to the bright sunlight. Focused so this, it’s fine. Keep it in the sunny window and it will regrow it’s leaves, should be fine.
