I got this Niagara Falls Eastern White Pine along with this Japanese Black Pine at this past weekend's chicago show. I am wondering if when branches are pruned, should you leave a stub near the trunk? I see that was done on the
eastern white pine in some places. Probably also applies to Mugo pines as well. I have never had pines before and got an interest in pines going to the Chicago chapter of the Midwest Bonsai Society meetings. Don't want to harm the tree, so figure it is good to ask first.
