Nice digs Wigert's

Yeah it's a really cool place. I got to see it this fall, it's even better in person. Great personal collection and well maintained stock.

I have wanted to go to Wigert's for some time and after seeing this, I am planning a trip to Florida. Amazing trees in this video.

I think we will go down to Fr. Myers and then over to the east coast. Isn't Jim Smith's in WPB?

Durastone is in Vero (a bit North of WPB). If you're in the area, you don't want to miss Heathcote Gardens in Fort Pierce. That's where his really good stuff is on display now.

My club was lucky enough to have Eric for a demo. Nice guy, great demo.

Wigert's open house is a great time to go, if you can wait till next Nov.
Also, just found out, they will be bringing in a guest artist from South Africa who
specializes in flat top or pierneef style bonsai like that of the Acacia Tree.
Which ought to be really cool seeing that everyone is styling their Raintrees
in a similar fashion...
:)

Is the guy they're bringing in Charles Ceronio?

Charles Ceronio is from South Africa and the author of the book "Bonsai Styles of the World"
I saw him at the Mid-Atlantic Bonsai festival in 2010 and our club had him do a lecture here after the show.
Hell of a nice guy and big of proponent of the Pierneef, Flat Top and other African styles
