This is one of my first trees when I got back into bonsai back in 1991. It was originally a 4 tree group but one died off. Below are two of its siblings , root cuttings about 5-6 yrs old. The group trees put out a lot of moss on the soil so I had to kill it off this year , the reason why the roots are exposed so much in the pot. A little moss is alright but I have no problem growing it all over the soil and up the trunk in no time.:)bn4_pe.jpgbn26_pepp.jpgbn27_pep.jpg

The title was supposed to say Nire Elm but spell check changed it before I noticed it and I don't see how to edit the title here. I sometimes detest spell check..

That's so funny, but still applicable.
