The stands are out. They have been cleaned and oiled. I use walnut oil for cleaning and conditioning my stands. Same stuff I use on my shotgun stocks. The accent pieces are ready as well as a scroll or two.

The tree have been chosen and prepared. The top has been cleaned of fertilizer cakes and top dressed. Some have moss and some are just screened lava. Some are screened akadama and moss.

Leaves have been pruned back that stick out of the canopy and the trees have been watered in for the day of festivities.

Tomorrow I will post some of the trees that tickle my fancy.

Ohhh I'm all goose pimply inside...

Two things Al:

1. Is that a tablecloth that features fancy chickens in the third photo?

2. Goose pimples should be on the outside.

Have a great show and please do let some trees tickle your fancy. Would love to see some stuff.

That juni is cluttering up your collection and looks to be unhappy amongst a bunch of D trees, so...I think a new home would be just the ticket for it to perk up surrounded by it's own kind, where it can live out it's life in a loving environment. I'll even split shipping.

Ciao,
Harry

3 hours setting up the exhibit. 3 hours tearing down the exhibit.

The exhibit is open 5 hours. You do the math.

This is a lot of work...but worth every minute of it.

Sorry, I missed a lot of photo's of some very nice trees. way too much talking and not enough photographing. The usual guy that narrates the demo was in surgeory today so I was asked to fill in.

I mean he is a surgeon, he was not undergoing surgeory himself. We provide lunch for the masses via potluck. Great day all around.

Some of the trees I did get.

Very nice display, Smoke. But, do tell, what is the accent for the maple forest? Is that a horse rock? Great ginko(?) forest too. Thanks for your time and effort.

That cascading JBP is really nice. I wish we could see the trunk.

Thanks for the pics, I really like the ginkgo forest. Kinda looks like two separate clumps that were combined but I can't tell for sure.
