Alain needs to research the Hard Science, with repeatable data on this topic.....like the Vostok Ice Core Samples.

This data simply proves that CO2 does NOT cause warming.

Ha ha ha ! :D

I'm still totally perplexed to see that some people who grow trees are climate change deniers. It's like the nose in the middle of the face as we say, it's so obvious.

As I said before, of course there are cycles of warming, then cooling of the atmosphere, but denying that man has had a responsabilty in global warming is... It's stupid, actually. Like shooting your foot, as we say here. I suppose that where the guns are a milestone of the culture, people take shooting oneself in the foot is just an epiphenomenon;

There is no more blindman that those who don't want to see, another local saying.
Alain's type want to simply control the world with the iron fist of authoritarianism......we call them socialists aka Stalinists.

You've almost won a Godwin point. Try again :)

And here you are again with a lot of words but you said nothing.

Empty words and rude comments seem to be all you have.

What a joke.

No rain here for over a month. Temperatures between 30-39 ° C in the afternoon.

About 200 miles where I live, after the drought, there we re hailstones the size of a tennis ball.

So OK, climate imbalance, disorder, whatever you call it, climate change is an essential issue to tackle.

I know a few here are climate change deniers, or they think that we, human beings can't be blamed for that, all right, I don't have the superpower to make the blind see.

But the politicians that don't do anything about it because they can make money when the people die, or just because they're stupid and incapable of thinking more than insults in 140 characters.

I mean, unless you've been decerabrated from an early age (religion-s-), it's obvious that man, the humankind, is at least partly responsible for the catastrophe ahead.

I confess I'm angry at that "US" that denies its, our, responsability in the disaster that is already showing in our eyes.

I'm so disappointed at the Usonians who will vte for more years of denial, to the profit of a clan, for the misery of the millions of people.

And it goes beyond that, because when the bully is the biggest man in the yard, you'd better be careful.

So what's the solution ? Try to reason someone who has no brains, no consideration at all for others, make all efforts to

Hey bud, just thought I'd share your pain. You have to remember that this site is filled with old timers, and much of them are American. That comes with a certain degree of inertia with regards to climate change. Their positions are damaging and threaten our future, but the problem is systemic. Their media and peers have spent years making up their mind, and we're not going to change it.

The only thing is to wait them out while we continue to do our part. Soon our voice will be louder than theirs.

Here in post #27, I ask again for a specific element to be cited in your very generalized indictment of us Yankee disbelievers. It's very hard to carry on an intelligent conversation with someone who doesn't say what their problem is. Please cite a specific statistic that we can kick around. Cause and effect

Also, mind your own damn business? It is his business you wet sock.

More name calling from the left. Seems that is all you guys have.

I have seen some good info in this thread, funny thing is none of it is coming from you or the OP.

Typical response from the left when their argument is empty, resort to name calling.

🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's such an asinine conversation that we dread having it. But fine, consider my arm twisted. Here is a previous post regarding this exact coversation. Sources and fully cited. Go ahead and view each cited resource and continue to deny.

So, the climate is cooling? It begins with a statistical sharp spike up in temperature, and ends with ~evidence~ of present day cooling? Which is it?

Have you actually read this garbage?

I don't know what information is being conveyed. Please explain this to us stupidos.

There's an old saying: If you can't convince them, then baffle them with bullshit. This is a very good try. I am not convinced you have any idea of what you are implying for the climate. Hotter or colder? How much in what time frame? Do not give me somebody else's wordy crap to read. State your case. Yourself. In so many words.

Huh? Sorry but you're going to have to cite what you're saying. I have no idea what you're talking about.

Haha what? I've read it all. I'm just confused as to what you're referring to. But I guess its easier to attack my credibility that actually cite what you're saying. I put in the effort you asked of me, and you throw you hands up and refuse to cite when asked even once. Its really mind numbing

Globally, temparatures are rising.
Causing local changes in weather which may be colder or warmer. Drier or wetter.
The increased amount of energy stored in the atmosphere leads to more extreme weather than past weather patterns, such as stronger heatwave, heavier winds, more frequent and stronger hurricanes. And as in the case of Italy yesterday.. Hailstorms with 4 inch hailstones.

Oh please....
I think what you mean to say is that YOU are totally totally perplexed to see that some individuals choose to think for themselves and not lap up the big govt bullshit every day.....and I understand why that's so perplexing to you....that's why our Men had to save you from the Nazis.
You're welcome.

I remember when liberals distrusted govt too.....hahaha! Commies.
