Roof plastic probably needs to be replaced every 3-5 years. End wall and side curtain plastic will probably need to be replaced every other time I replace the roof plastic.

You are pretty much right on. Most greenhouse film lasts 4 years around here.
Unless you are really frugal and have a roll of greenhouse tape and batten.

I was going to suggest polycarbonate for the sides, as I used to buy lots of it back in the day... but darn! that thing is as expensive as gold now.

Finished running the batten strips today. I cut the openings for the doors and trimmed the excess plastic.

Quick trip back to the gulf coast. In St Francisville LA (just outside of Baton Rouge) for a short visit. Squeezed in a short hike at Mary Ann Brown’s nature preserve and just beat the downpour. Duckweed pond reminded me of my kusamono at the ABS show in Houston.

Also - just back from a little side trip to visit my daughter in France. She took the TGV to meet us and we spent a few days in Paris, then drove to Crest and Grenoble. I squeezed in several hikes in the Drôme valley and on the Saou massif before going to see her college - here are a few highlights!

I was driving back home from camping in Luray on Weds and passed the 'Delaplane" exit and I thought of you lol.

50% shade cloth up and door pins installed.

Working on running power on to the property. Looks like that may be happening next spring. That’s good news- I can install a ventilation fan in the tunnel.
