Oof. I lost a pretty sweet Cotoneaster last year. Here is the thread. I got lots of great info from other members in the last 2 pages. Maybe it’ll help with yours.

I just had the same thing. I lost two branches that were doing very well. They just starting drying up, turning brown, and died. I have one "healthy" branch left. I have good draining soil, plenty of sunlight, etc. Not sure what's going on.

a cranberry cotoneaster I had called it quits. Perhaps too much work done.
