I wanted to post a link to this video, because it is a tour of an amazing nursery on the north side of LA. Nuccio's Nurseries has been one of the top (if not THE top) nurseries in the country for azaleas and camellias - not only collecting and propagating them, but even creating some of the best cultivars in the world. If you go to your local nursery and see a cultivar titled "Nuccio's... " it came from this nursery. (I recently saw a thread on this site regarding a "Nuccio's cherry" tree) My two favorite camellias are Nuccio's Gem and Nuccio's Pearl. When @Brian Van Fleet visited, we only had enough time to hit a couple of places, because otherwise I would have loved to have taken him here!
