When transplanting many, if not all nursery bought bonsai plants, they all seem to have small green pellet fertilizer in the soil. Is this a trade secret, or is this fertilizer a common known product ?? If known, what is it and what is the NPK ?
I have lots different fertilizer products, but am curious to know what they use. Thanks for the help

If it is green it is most likely Polyon pelletized time release fertilizer. The NPK value will change based on the time release it was designed for.

3-4 month release - 14-6-11
5-6 month release - 19-2.6-10
8-9 month release - 18-2.6-10
10-12 month release - 15-2.6-9.1

3-4 month release with micros - 16-2.6-10

There's no way to know which version they used. You would have to ask them or the wholesaler. I would ask the wholesaler first as they most likely were the ones to put down the fertilizer.

There are a number of companies making controlled release fertilizer. Some use different colors to indicate the time release factor. Some have a standard trade mark color to all their formulations.
Osmocote has a wide range of different release times, different NPK ratios and different release curves.
Unless you know which brand the balls are you cannot tell what NPK or release time that one has.

Controlled release is not a trade secret. You can buy controlled release fert in most plant stores but there may be a bewildering range of different formulations to choose from.

Try searching 'controlled release fertilizer' on your search engine to track down something that's available near you.
