Bought this for $8 about a month ago on clearance.

After the surgery (butchery). I'll probably remove some more branches depending on how it back buds. The picture below is what I'm going for; a couple layered pads.

Making nice clean cuts will save you a lot of time.

If you're cutting to the trunk, make it flush and clean up with a razor - then seal.

If you're cutting to a stub for safety - cut clean and seal.

I bent it backwards until half of it snapped, and then I twisted the branched until the rest broke off 🤣

Honestly I was waiting for some concave cutters and some paste to come in the mail to properly do it, which is why I left a little to be carved off.

Yeah if you're going to be taking down 30 nursery trees this fall, get yourself some nice tools!

Good luck with the boxwood. I have one that I'd like to punt.
