IMG_0703.JPG Doing my daily check and......hmmmm what is missing? My cottoneaster! Well it wasn't missing just off of plant stand but I didn't notice it because ALMOST ALL OF ITS LEAVES ARE GONE! The poor thing had a real slow start this year but came back like a champ with each branch thick with leaves. Its stripping of leaves looks almost surgical!
So I have two questions and then one plea for advice. What would or does eat cottoneaster leaves and will it survive with what it has left?
Plea:What can be done to help its survival? Can you offer any advice?
I have lost two trees this year and don't want to loose another, the trees lost were very notable in my collection, enough that I thought I was going to vomit every time I thought about it....just like losing a pet.....well almost. I don't want to lose another, please help!
