I think they are slow to root but cuttings are a option, also you can get the Ocotillo seeds after the flowering is done

OK---explain starting cuttings as a way to propagate Ocotillo, casun and thank you Arnold
I’ve never propagated Ocotillo from cuttings but based on YouTube videos like the one above it does seem possible. Give it a shot and good luck.

I was in home depot today. Here are ocotillo with very few dry roots.
