Odd full moon maple leaf colour

Does anyone know what's up with this Japanese full moon maple leaf colour? Any fixes or concerns?

The tree is in partial sun with afternoon shade. I've begun watering it twice a day, liquid fertilizer once a week alternating between organic and chemical.

It is just anthocyanin, meaning a bit too much sun right on that spot that turned red. If you leave it where it is, the photocenters should adapt to the light level. The red color will fade as they do.

It's probably plain 'Full Moon', not 'Golden Full Moon' which is really yellow right now, and not 'Autumn Full Moon' which is a lot more tinged golden-red in half day east sun as below:

Of course weather in Victoria can be a lot different depending upon exactly where you are (so I have heard), and your's looks weeks behind mine which is 3 weeks behind my normal season. Unless it's a different variety.
