Hi all

I found this years ago at a bootsale for a couple of quid!

I used to use it for watering my smaller trees due to the soft spray of water that came from it, Unfortunately the rose came away from the spout and it was consigned to the shed!

Fast forwards a few years and I found it again so I cleaned the two mating parts with wire wool and set about resoldering them together, This was successful so I polished it up!

When I sat it on to pouring spout, It looked ridiculous!

I ended up expending some elbow grease and polishing it all! (The handle is wrought iron),,

What a mistake!!, The wife saw it and said- 'You can't use that as you'll spoil it'!- It's now on a shelf in the conservatory, When it becomes tarnished again, I'll get to water my trees with it again!! 😂
