Or throw it in the ground for a few years those things are like crazy. By that time maybe the dead-wood will be swallowed up some.

On a tall rock would work ?
That looks sillyI agree with Hartinez on making a raft. That is, If it's flipped deadwood side toward the viewer. I also think leaning it against a rock would work. I flipped it with the photo editor. But sometimes the tree will look much different in person. The literati looked funky to me in the picture.
I think a rock mix w the literati angle and having it hugging rock.. now to find a rock.I agree with Hartinez on making a raft. That is, If it's flipped deadwood side toward the viewer. I saw these trees which lead me to ripping out decayed deadwood. Also looking how I’d bend it .. option to consider . I’m looking at rocks this weekendThe reverse taper in the base turns me off, i'd do one of two things if was mine, find the perfect piece of rock that blends in with the bark, play around with it. thats what I did with this material https://www.bonsainut.com/threads/english-elm-yamadori.23751/
or id plant the tree deeper so the thin bit is under the soil, thats just me.

you want ideas, you need to study peoples trees who work wonders with similar material.
Thank you for the excellent photoshop mock up ! … let me be a sponge and soak up everyone’s valued input and see what I come out with next spring. Here's what I would attempt were this my tree. I would plant it deeper and try to get some roots around the widest section above where the rot was.
Nice looking trunk why not rid of the ugly stuff?
